Whidbey Island Weddings Real Wedding: Keely + Justin’s Lovely + Lively August Wedding at Crockett Farm on Whidbey Island

It has been said that a wedding is a party, not a performance.  Keely and Justin’s summer wedding at Crockett Farm on Whidbey Island in Washington State was the quintessential example of exactly that: a gathering of family and friends all focused on non-stop fun and celebration.  The joy surrounding Keely + Justin on August 12, 2017, was strong all day long and we love how photographer David Oh captured those emotions so well!

If we had to choose one word to describe Keely and Justin’s wedding it would be personality!  From Justin’s unrelenting grin, to the fist bump exchanged between Justin and Keely’s father to start their ceremony, to the post-party, suspenders-down-loosened-tie photos of the bride and groom, this wedding was just bursting with the magnetic charm Keely and Justin can’t help but give off.

We had so much fun creating Keely’s sweet bouquet, using a mix of hydrangeas, eucalyptus, roses and baby’s breath.  We loved the addition of succulents to give Keely’s bouquet a surprise texture and visual appeal!  And the addition of draping eucalyptus to Crockett Farm’s custom driftwood arbor made for a classic and simple pairing that served as a lovely compliment to Keely’s bouquet.

There are always so many little moments that make up a happy wedding.  One of our favorites from Keely and Justin’s celebration is the look on Keely’s father’s face when she first came out of Crockett Farm’s guesthouse, moments before he walked her down the stone steps and across the green grass to Justin.  Another is all about the two adorable and hard-working flower girls that stole the show as they sprinkled Keely’s path with petals.  And we are completely in love with the moody vibe David Oh captured when Keely and Justin posed in the Crockett Farm guesthouse library.  Keely’s white dress contrasting with the library’s wood-paneled walls and shelves of books – not to mention Justin’s adoring gaze at his beautiful bride – made for quite a moment.

From beginning to end, Keely and Justin’s wedding defined celebration.  There was so much joy and genuine laughter which created the most fun and relaxed vibes.  We had so much fun helping Keely and Justin create their perfect party!  Congratulations Keely + Justin!
